GEAC™

Global Education Advisory Council

The GEAC is a global organization operating under CENTER for AMITY and RESTORATION of EARTH ™ (CARE), whose goal is to offer the most innovative and student-centered education.

GEAC

We have a council of education specialists, including child psychologists, teaching technique specialists, and local culture experts, creating new learning opportunities for every child in the world. The GEAC is not authoritarian in nature and lives by natural law. Our experts are here to advise and connect individuals and groups to other organizations with similar challenges. We are a council of over 20 specialists, in conjunction with an additional small group of “big picture” educational “Architects”.

Responsibilities

This council’s responsibilities included:

  • The auditing of the education system,
  • The establishment of Micro-Exploratoriums,™ and Exploratoriums™ (formerly known as schools),
  • Providing information and support to schools in the current system,
  • The writing of new materials,

  • Unique revival of post-secondary (tertiary) content and accreditation.

The Global Educational Advisory Consortium™ (GEAC) is proposing the Global Education Restoration Plan™ (GERP) as guidance for communities to restore natural law while servicing their educational needs.

The GEAC through the GERP  will provide best practices for establishing new “schools”, new ways of teaching, community youth and after-school programs, that support and enrich children, young adults, and families, in creative and meaningful ways.

The GERP  is defining a new educational system by: founding state-of-the-art Micro-Exploratoriums™ and Exploratoriums™, reinforcing a lower Student to Academist™ and Facilitator ratio, using innovative methods and materials, enabling us to introduce emerging technologies, history, math and sciences… as we are in a time of great change.

The GEAC will provide a central repository for educational information and guidance for communities, including:

  • Integrating existing educational institutions into the Global Education Advisory Consortium™ Restoration Plan
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of Micro-Exploratoriums™ as the first step
Building innovative Exploratoriums™ as the second step
  • Establishing educational certification for Academists™ and Facilitators of Micro-Exploratoriums™ and Exploratoriums™
  • Providing Academist™ and Facilitator training along with creative on-going professional development
  • Completing educational audits & restructuring on all levels, including post secondary (tertiary). Writing new curriculum as our true history is revealed
  • Developing youth after-school and community programs Enriching communities and families.

Preliminary Educational Plan

  • The GEAC™ team members have chosen the best, most well-rounded education model; the Montessori Method, as our leading pattern for success. The common thread of the best project-based models, is that they include individualized student learning programs, for all children; where the student takes accountability for their own learning and that, in turn, guides them in becoming self-motivated and accountable adults.
  • Micro-Exploratoriums™ are the first phase in the Restoration Plan. Micro-Exploratorium™: A group of Parents/Educators (Parental Organization Groups™ ‘POGS’) who form a small learning-communities for their own children, following the certified Exploratorium™ principles and ideals.
  • Exploratorium™ is the concept and the subsequent implementation of self-motivated, project-driven learning in an environment without exclusivity, agendas or competition, and  no governmental or other influences, supporting a community that  unites, collaborates and evolves.

Teaching & Learning Methods

Our Global Education international members voted for the best education model; the Montessori Method. The common strength of the best models is that they include student individualized education programs, where the individual takes accountability for their own learning. Standardized tests and test grades are replaced by Mastery levels. Following are several models that are valued and the Montessori model is the most established and recognized among these.

The New Facility Core Team

The GEAC™ team members have chosen the best, most well-rounded education model; the Montessori Method, as our leading pattern for success. The common thread of the best project-based models, is that they include individualized student learning programs, for all children; where the student takes accountability for their own learning and that, in turn, guides them in becoming self-motivated and accountable adults.

Expert Advisors

We will be supported by the Montessori Foundation, with around 22,000 Montessori schools around the world including 3,000 in the U.S, and from this pool we are acquiring our Expert Advisors. In the case of our model Exploratoriums™, we will procure contractors and principals from the same continent who have already built Montessori schools, to advise new builders and the specialized education teams of the same region.

GEAC Expert Advisors

Future Teams

Our Future Team members will be recruited from future/upcoming project sites. They will participate in some Core Team meetings a few times a week, in order to be ready to participate in upcoming projects. GEAC™ will have training and  development teams, helping new Academist™/Facilitators learn new techniques. We will help communities find staff with  high EQ (Emotional Quotient). Our ultimate goal is that  all children will have the best education possible, in their locale. Progress will depend on each community’s active involvement, and their ability to make skillful decisions and  then, act on them.

Global Education Advisory Consortium (GEAC)

The GEAC™ Roles

  • This Council is here to provide guidance and to facilitate in the whole creation process globally and locally, for participating communities. It will oversee building of schools, writing of new materials and Facilitator and Academist™ training.
  • Initially, GEAC™ will be assisting in the creation and implementation of model Montessori Schools, and subsequently, each local community will then have an opportunity to design their own new schools and education programs to best serve their children’s future.
  • Communities can use the suggested, proven, and successful models as a basis, and from these, a mixture can be implemented once they determine how these will best fulfill their needs; our only request is that it be A CHILD/STUDENT CENTERED School.
  • The Council will constantly re-evaluate its endeavors and make necessary changes to foster evolving positive growth in education.
  • Each State Core Team has two specialized divisions/teams; one is to help with construction, the other is to help with educational and subject matter decisions.
  • Each team is to have specialists that assist in new school building and implementation plans that will apply to Continents, Countries, States/Regions, Cities/Towns and rural areas.

GEAC™ Goals:

GEAC™  will have Facilitator and Academist™  training and development teams, helping them learn new techniques. We will help communities find teachers with high EQ (Emotional Quotient).  Patience will be needed, as this process could take time to reach all corners of the globe.  Our goal is to have all children get the best care possible in their location. Progress will depend on communities’ active involvement, ability to make intelligent decisions and then act on them.

One of the most complex tasks that the GEAC™  will have is to re-design the higher education credit hour system, implementing credits for practical knowledge, and reformulating ineffectual class materials. We aspire to a flexible, open-minded system where individuals working in a job site, gain credit hours for demonstrating their knowledge. Introduction of new certifications will give encouragement to students aiming for a higher degree.

Educational Auditors will be provided by the country or state. Our goal is to identify setbacks and find pro-active solutions. Our team will match people with similar problems or situations for brainstorming, video meetings, and connect them in other ways for support.

Summary of the Global Education Plan

The Global Education Plan is bird’s eye view of a vital and vibrant educational plan designed to serve every student on this planet. The Global Educational Team envisions every family being able to direct their children’s education to their specific goals. Our well-trained Facilitators and Academists™ use exciting, unique, student-centered learning techniques with a project based interdisciplinary program having a 20:2, Student to Facilitator/Academist™ and Academic Assistant ratio. They will have a high EQ and receive training in many learning styles, psychology and “unlearning disabilities”(how to tap into the divine, in a special child) in order to expertly individualize each educational program. New materials will be created for new programs. For example, those that create an agro-oasis with new approaches like permaculture, aquaponics, hydroponics, food forests, etc. Our programs will dynamically involve in school activities; the community, businesses, the elderly, veterans, and parents.
